Undoubtedly, small businesses are the engines that drive our economy. Small Business is Big Business in CT is the tagline of the CTShowcase. Based on industry standards, over ninety-seven per cent (97%) of businesses in Connecticut are small. The Office of the Secretary of the State through its Small and Minority Business Services Unit sponsors a series of programs involving private-public partnerships and collaboration. CTShowcase has been a leader in mobilizing assistance and support for small businesses since its inception in March 2000. Through its outreach efforts to small businesses, it helps to provide valuable support and resources that increases their ability to succeed. Entrepreneurs can register to participate in any of the business programs such as showcases, business roundtables, seminars and contests by registering at this website.
