The Office of the Secretary of the State is located at 30 Trinity St., Hartford CT, one block NORTH of the Bushnell Auditorium, at the intersection of Trinity and Elm Streets, and directly across from EAST side of the State Capitol Building and the SOUTH side of Bushnell Park.
There is metered public parking on Elm and Trinity Streets. All meters take nickels, dimes, and quarters. Elm Street parking hours, 9:00 AM - 3:30 PM weekdays. Trinity Street parking hours, 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM weekdays. Additional metered parking on Capitol Avenue, one block south of the office, parallel to Elm Street.

From EAST of Hartford (Manchester, Vernon, East Hartford, etc.)I-84 West to Exit 48 (Asylum St.). Keep to left of exit ramp. Left onto Asylum St. at end of exit ramp

Third stoplight, bear right onto Ford/High St.
Next stoplight bear right onto Trinity St.
Go underneath arch in Bushnell Park
At stoplight, turn left onto Elm St.
Park on Elm St.
The office is the 4-story red brick building on the corner of Trinity and Elm streets.

From WEST of Hartford (Danbury, Waterbury, New Britain, etc.) I-84 East to Exit 48-B (Capitol Ave. exit)
Left onto Capitol Ave. at end of exit
Second stoplight, bear left onto Trinity St.
First right, turn onto Elm St. Park on Elm St.
The office is the 4-story red brick building on the corner of Trinity and Elm streets.

From NORTH of Hartford (Springfield, MA, Windsor, Bloomfield, etc.) I-91 South to Exit 29-A (Capitol Area exit) Merge left at end of exit
Follow for 1/4 mile and go underneath Hartford Public Library Building At traffic circle, follow small green signs labeled "Capitol Area"
Take second right off traffic circle onto Elm St. At stoplight, Elm St. intersects with Trinity St.
The office is the 4-story red brick building on the corner of Trinity and Elm Streets. Park on Elm or Trinity St.

From SOUTH of Hartford (New Haven, Meriden, Wethersfield, etc.) I-91 North to Exit 29-A (Capitol Area exit--left exit)
Follow exit for 1/2 mile and go underneath Hartford Public Library Building At traffic circle, follow small green signs labeled "Capitol Area"
Take second right off traffic circle onto Elm St. At stoplight, Elm St. intersects with Trinity St.
The office is the 4-story red brick building on the corner of Trinity and Elm. Park on Elm or Trinity St.

From I-95 west/south of New Haven, take I-95 North to New Haven.
Follow signs to I-91 North. Follow directions for "From SOUTH of Hartford" above.

From I-95 east/north of New Haven, take I-95 South to New Haven.
